Who you are

You remember everyone's birthday, their mom's name and the thing they were worried about last month. You still have every card anyone ever gave you, in a box you'd save in a fire. Somehow every night out ends at your place, with someone crying on your couch and you already making tea. The Moon rules your sign, and like the Moon, you have phases. Moody, sure. But to the people you love, you're home.

Your emotional world

You feel everything, and you feel it in layers: today's mood, plus last week's hurt, plus a memory this reminded you of. Your shell is real. You don't show the soft parts to just anyone, and you can seem guarded to new people. But once someone is in, you take care of their feelings as carefully as your own. Sometimes more carefully, which is part of the problem.

When you're hurt

  • You cry in the car, then walk in and say "it's fine."
  • You get a little passive-aggressive, hoping they'll notice and ask.
  • What actually helpstelling them directly, while you still feel soft about it, before it turns into a grudge.

How you love

You're slow to trust and fast to care. On a first date you're asking about their family, their childhood, the friends they'd call at 3 a.m., because you're already wondering if this could be home. Once you feel safe, you're all in: devoted, affectionate and deeply loyal. You want someone who wants a real life together, with the dinners and the in-jokes and the family holidays.

How you show love

  • You take care of them when they're sick, with medicine, their favorite show queued up and zero complaints.
  • You check in. "Did you eat?" is how you say "I love you."
  • You turn wherever you are into a home, with candles, snacks and a good playlist.
  • You love their people too, and they love you back.

Desire and intimacy

For you, desire needs emotional safety first. Once you trust someone, it runs deep, tender and surprisingly intense. You want to feel cherished: slow kisses, being held afterward, someone who looks at you like you're the only one. Feeling rushed or treated casually shuts you down. Feeling safe opens up a side of you very few people get to see.

What draws you in

  • Kindness to waiters, kids and their own mother.
  • A person who remembers what you said last time.
  • Steadiness. You want to feel safe, not just excited.
  • Someone who clearly wants a home and a future.

Your shadow side

Your moods can take over a room, and the people around you end up walking on eggshells. When you feel neglected, you can guilt-trip instead of asking. You hold onto the past, both the beautiful parts and the grudges. And you can mother a partner so much that you forget you're also allowed to be taken care of.

Your growth edge

  • Ask for what you need instead of hoping they'll guess.
  • Let one old hurt actually go.
  • Let them take care of you sometimes, even when you could do it better.

At a glance

Your strengths

  • People feel safe with you, and they tell you things they tell no one else.
  • You're fiercely protective of the people you love.
  • Your intuition about feelings is almost uncanny.
  • You make any place feel like home.

What you need from a partner

  • Reassurance, often, especially when you're quiet.
  • Someone who wants a real life together, with family and roots.
  • Gentleness with your feelings, even when they don't make sense yet.
  • Loyalty in big ways and small ways.

Your dealbreakers

  • Mocking your feelings or calling you "too sensitive."
  • Being cold or careless with your family.
  • A partner who never lets you in.
